Privacy Notice

Mediten Clinic (“the Clinic”) values the security of your personal data. This notice explains, as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), how we process the personal data you share via our website and communication channels.

Data we process

• Identity and contact details: name, phone number, email address
• Request details: your answers in the assessment form, your message, the treatment you are interested in
• Images: skin photos you choose to share for an assessment
• Marketing and measurement data: the channel or campaign that brought you to our site, pages visited and online identifiers collected according to your cookie choices
• Security data: IP address, browser and device information

Purposes

We process your data to receive your request and contact you, plan a suitable treatment and appointment, answer your questions, improve our services and website, measure the effectiveness of our advertising, ensure information security and comply with legal obligations.

Legal grounds

Data is collected electronically via website forms, WhatsApp, phone and email, on the grounds of entering into or performing a contract, our legitimate interest and legal obligations (KVKK Art. 5). Skin photos and health-related statements are special category data and are processed only with your explicit consent. Marketing cookies are used only with your consent.

Transfers

Data may be shared, limited to these purposes, with service providers such as our CRM software and website hosting. With your consent, online identifiers may be shared with advertising providers such as Google and Meta whose servers are located abroad. Data may be disclosed to authorities where legally required.

Retention

Data is kept for as long as the purpose requires and as required by law, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Photos from assessments that did not lead to treatment are deleted once the purpose ends.

Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you may request information about the processing of your data, its correction or deletion, learn the third parties it was transferred to, object to automated decisions and claim compensation for unlawful processing.
